You create some interesting threads. The rate, well it’s not a competition, but you can see how many messages each person has made since they joined.

I think I've been rather inactive; yet someone has written "active member" below my username. Why is that?

Just an automatic thing which you can change in your profile

But when does a member become an active member or a well-known member? Is it just random, or a certain number of posts or likes or something?

New Member - Less than 5 trophy points.
Member - 5+ trophy points.
Active Member - 20+ trophy points.
Well-Known Member - 48+ trophy points.

Or you can just put it in yourself.

That is a rather old list, but probably hasn't changed.

Turns out I'm a "well-known member" now

@Minus I don't know what trophy points mean, but for me, when I first joined, I was a "new member". After 10 messages, I was a "member". After 30 messages, an "active member". And after 45 messages, a "well-known member".
