Wondering what changes you think this website needs the most? In case you're wondering about the recent speed increase, I just moved the site to a less populated server at linode, which practically only runs this site now. Other ideas noted so far: More smilies An option to hide the banners...

Yup, as said it's minor update. So mostly relates to security fixes/bugs.

LEGO is the 2nd last movie I saw in the cinema. It was quite good, it is clear that they thought A LOT about the story. Of course I will not criticize the movie because I know people who work at LEGO :D The last movie I saw was Divergent. Imho better than the hunger games.

The site has now been moved to a different server. The new server has a few more sites on it, including one fairly busy site - but it's in Danish and it has a different peak period - so they should co-exist very well :-) But also this server is considerably more powerful, much more RAM and CPU.

Hi all, I have deactivated the akismet filter for now. To see how the forum survives with it for a while. :-)

Please let me know if the issue has been resolved now. It appears that some files had been, incorrectly, locked by the file system. I have restarted the server.

Fixed and activated Akismet plugin on the forum. This should significantly limit the amount of spam done. Also notice that this plugin will automatically ban users being caught multiple times trying to spam. Minor news: also installed a SEO plugin :-)

Again updated the forum software :-) (security and bug fixes)

To clear up the confusion in this thread: Of course there is a captcha on the signup page. If there wasn't, the spam level would be one milliion times worse :-D It is impossible to completely avoid spam, I am watching the current situation and may implement Akismet or another anti-spam measure...

I am following the situation. If the problem persists I will look into adding an anti-spam plugin (ie. Akismet)
