38 male virgin - Pros and Cons of paying for ***

I see. Yeah those things are horrible. Just abandoning a dog is pretty horrible too. Not sure how people can do that. But I think those people are simply sadistic rather than "unintelligent'. I disagree that lack of intelligence leads to being evil. I've known plenty of people who weren't the...

38 male virgin - Pros and Cons of paying for ***

Why do you say that? People who live simple lives (small town, farms, dairies, etc..) are usually very happy & friendly, IMO... As far as the *** robots...pass...no thanks...

    Not sure where to turn

It means rheumatoid arthritis. It can be horrifically debilitating. @Peteyfoozer Hope you can overcome some if not all of your issues. You and your husband helped your kids, now they NEED to step up for you. No one should be working at 70 unless it is because they truly want to and just want...

38 male virgin - Pros and Cons of paying for ***

Couple of things. 1. He's in Europe and I believe in certain western European countries they are paid relatively well and have fantastic benefits. 2. In my county (NYC inner suburbs) almost all towns pay tenured public school teachers over $100K. My cousin works in the most impoverished and...

I'm alone, and I'm scared for what the future holds...

I hope things turn around for you. Good luck. Look at it this way, at least you have your kids. I'll be 60 in less than 1.5 years, and I have no one at all. I'll go into old age completely alone. And there is no way I can be dependent on anyone for anything. It's not in my DNA. No nursing homes...

    The worlds oldest profession

Whether it "needs" to exist is irrelevant. It has existed since the australopithecus came down from the trees, and it will always exist. It certainly fufills certain needs (albeit not in the best way). Males who need *** and females who need resources. It harms some individuals. Not all but...

The effects of a belief system

Possibly. Just seems to instill a beneficial discipline in life, from what I have observed. Again and as always, just IMO.

    Shy Sometimes

Yes I am exactly the same. I can sometimes be the loudest guy in the room, and other times hide in the corner. Not sure why. And like you it makes no difference if around friends or strangers.

The effects of a belief system

"I simply want to know what the members of this forum think about the effects of having a belief system like a religion has on a persons mental health." - I think any system that helps to enforce a daily regimen and encourage discipline in life is fantastic for mental health. I've been "out of...

    The human dimension of relationships

OK, so I KNOW that I am one of the members to whom you refer, because that is 100% true for me. It's just the way it has a;ways been for me, and at my age, it ain't changing. Very nice post though.

I gotta tell ya...I like this! In some ways (but not all), I may be one of the "social darwinist capitalists" you don't much care for. But D@mn, I like this kind of talk!
