    What are you listening to?

I fell into a yacht rock/70's soft rock wormhole.

What are you thinking right now?

As okidoke said, you have your son, so not all of this was a waste. Besides your son, what is stopping you from walking away? This clearly is not a good thing for you.

what was the last movie you saw?

The end's kind of a mess, but the film did keep me interested throughout.

    Having many casual friends

Ah, that's a good point with support groups. While they certainly have a purpose, I think you (general "you") need to find other ways to connect with people. I think the idea of overdoing support groups and/or therapy is a valid one, as you run the risk of focusing too much on your issues.

I have not. Despite it being on top of the screen, I seldom notice it. I prefer to explore the forum on my own and see what comes up.

    Your First Click

Hmm. After reading the site menu, I'll check "General" first. I'll also check the "Entertainment" section. The "Loneliness" section I'll save for last. Assuming, of course, I read it at all. To be honest, I feel like I don't have much to say on those subjects at this point.

    Having many casual friends

I randomly came across this piece and was intrigued. I prefer the idea of two or three close friends and not maintaining casual acquaintances. Still, I wanted to keep an open mind and see another perspective. Despite that, I'm not really seeing the benefits. Who's to say people with a ton of...

What are you thinking right now?

And making access to mental health care easier. I saw that up to 42% of people want treatment for mental health but can't afford it (source here). I'm not sure if it's changed or not since then, but that percentage is way too high.

    The pressure to have ***

Here you go. I didn't mean to say not having *** is overrated. Not sure how you got there. If anything, I was saying it's fine if one wanted to stay a virgin.

    Long time returning memeber

The people on there are dumb, but I didn't think the show was that much of an exaggeration. It was just cool to see local landmarks and restaurants featured on a popular TV series. A former neighbor of mine even appeared in an episode; she got into a fight with some of the castmates.

    Long time returning memeber

Maybe people do say that in NJ, but I haven't heard it. Or maybe that's a North Jersey thing; people usually aren't so abrasive in this area. I do love some of the beach towns here. I'll go every so often to check out the restaurants and shops. I just find myself relaxed when I'm there.

    The pressure to have ***

I'm 39 years old and when I was younger, that pressure was there. You were looked at as peculiar if you were still a virgin after a certain age. If anything, it may have decreased, considering the articles about Gen Z and less sexual activity. I think virginity is just a construct anyway; it's...

    Long time returning memeber

Hello there. Welcome back to ALL!

What are you thinking right now?

Well, I think any group is going to see conflict. Loneliness isn't going to stop anyone from defending their opinion or speaking their mind. Admittedly it is easier to assume people are being harsher than they actually are, due to the lack of intonation in text-based communication.

what was the last movie you saw?

Heavy on the action. The story's a bit thin, but I still enjoyed the movie.

The OFFICIAL Weird and Creepy Thread

Inland Empire isn't filmed in closeup shots, but most of it has a similarly unsettling energy. It also spans three hours, so patience is needed. Haha.
