I can't believe I've posted 78 times already since I joined which was after all only about 4 days ago.

Is that too much? It feels like it is. :p

Do you post more than you thought you would? Or less? Are you more a thread started or a thread replier?

I think I've shy'ed away from starting too many threads but I've tried to answer whenever I think I have anything valid to say to try and connect with people. I must admit though that if a thread is already pages long I can't really bring myself to read through it all so I tend to give them a miss.

I don't start many threads, I post more in others. I'll do the same thing, if it's pages long I'll skip it unless I've already been active on it. With all the games on this forum it's easy to have a high post count quickly if you post in them. :D

I'm glad its not just me that skips! I don't like to have too many of my own threads going because I like to go back and answer peoples comments. Its all about trying to form connections with people for me. I'm definitely quality over quantity thats why I was a little surprised mine if so high already! I don't think I've answered much in the games thread yet!

Very rarely have I started threads in a forum, and I have yet to start one here. I feel that anything I come up with would be uninteresting and useless. So I usually contribute with replies and stick to the games like Sci-Fi said. I merely always fear of breaking a rule and being banned for some reason, silly I know. Happy posting.

And PS. annik, that's an interesting triptych you have as your sig.

I'm very stand off ish by nature but as I'm here trying to get to know people I've really forced myself to get involved, reply and start threads. Mostly I've not opened up that much yet just asked fun questions and tried helping people.

I've never really feared being banned because I'm probably too dull to do anything wrong and I normally read all the rules for things before I join. I'm sure if you're not spanning or massively offensive you'd get warned before they banned you anyway. I can understand though because I'm the queen of worrying over silly things. :)

Thanks! Its a set of photographs by Bas Jan Ader.

I must have over a thousand five hundred posts by now. I suppose it happens when I'm a natural spammer.

These days, I mostly give a go' to message if I have somethin' to say that be at least partly unrelated to th' topic at hand.

500 That is impressive :).

I don't think i post that much on any of the forums i am on, i am pretty sure i have never had more than about 300 posts on any forum.
Also lately for the last few years i do not post much or say anything as i cannot seem to convey what i am thinking into words very well so often i will start a post or reply and then just give up with it, or just think there is no point me saying anything as it tends to come out wrong (i am thinking that right now but i will still post this).

I think i have posted on here more than i thought i would, although this is a nice forum with lovely people :).

I do that too. Plus I tend to think I don't really have much to bring to discussions. Or my advice is weak. :(

I've already overtaken my "most posts" here. Before the most I'd done was about 140 and I'd been on that forum on and off for about 4 years. As Liley says the games section can really bump up your post count and is addictive. I was almost having a duel in the name game at one point!
