Wow....I've heard about this man before, but to actually watch his video is quite inspiring. Thanks for the video =)
But people who always see the negative side of things like myself can admire a person such as Nick but then find fault within ourselves. "Why am I not grateful for what I have? Why am I so weak and pitiful?" Or maybe that's just me. In any case, it's something that needs to be worked on. Self-pity isn't gonna help any...

P.S. I wholeheartedly agree with your sig. How I wish it weren't so. =(

I was feeling miserable one day, feeling sorry for myself.
Boo hoo nobody loves me, blah blah blah....................
On my way home from work I saw a guy sitting at a bus stop in a wheelchair.
He had no legs.
Then I felt ashamed of myself.
In spite of being alone, I still have so so much to be happy about.

I think now and then we need unpleasant reminders of how lucky we are.

I posted that vid here before. :) It's a nice one.

There are others on youtube that are of a similar nature.
I even saw one woman putting contact lenses in her eyes
with her big toes!
Man, talk about overcoming adversity!

I'm not a church-goer, but if there's a God in Heaven
I hope there's an extra special reward for those who have
been so badly cheated (in my opinion) in this life.

Cheated? We havent been cheated! Hell, there are people with genetic abnormnalities that give them an advantage over others.

Sometimes the fact that we have to work around our disabilities makes us stronger in some areas than others. :)

Sorry, but I can't watch the whole video right now because no sound because my sister's watching the tv. I just wanted to link to this short film because I was reminded of it.

Be sure to watch part 2.
