a list of things before u date

do you have a list of things or just one specific thing that you need before you date someone?

for me, i will not date if i'am unemployed. reason for it, despite my age im looking for a long term thing, and if im dating i'd like to be able to go OUT not just sit in my room and screw around.

Yes I wouldn't date because I was unemployed I got asked out to lunch by an internet friend but my pride wouldn't let me go and he said he would pay.
