I wouldn't be too sure of that. Keep in mind that this thread was created in 2009 and it's been being used every since. I've been here over 10 years, so I'm certainly no longer in the category I clicked when I first joined.

Even so, the distribution probably doesn't change that much. Equally, newer members come and presumably fall within the age distribution as polled.

It's interesting, I'd have thought many years ago that it would trend more towards the older generation, but lately it absolutely seems to be the younger generation. I wonder why this is the case.

Damn, I've been here through almost 3 brackets now.

Although to be fair, my first year here was the last half-year of one bracket.
And I've only been through 1 whole bracket here.
I'm about to enter the last year of my current bracket, which when it's done, would make it 2 brackets rather than 3 full ones.

That's not quite as bad, but still worse than I would like.

It would be nice to get out of singledom, before I leave the next bracket though.

The age brackets don't surprise me at all. That's pretty normal.
