Who actually looks at people's stuff (I forget the word I'm looking for...) like their profile and ACTUALLY reads and understands it?

Because it seems that no one looks at mine, if they did, they would see that I often go through a tough time and they should takes things easy on me but they take things kinda harsh which brings me down.

Like you know who (meow) <-- [Hint] I gave her a link to my site so she can understand what life is like for me but she never even looked at it, nor did she care.

If you don't, just like to point out that it's a great idea and dosen't hurt to do so.

Well I just read your profile and I appreciate the fact that you take some time out to look at other profiles and try to understand them. You're a very nice person. There are still lots of us here on this forum who are willing to be friends with you and appreciate you and the things you do. Don't think you're the only person. All of us here have gathered on this forum because we're all similar in a way

She reported your ISP for harassment. The last thing you need is for your parents to get phone calls or emails regarding what you've been doing on here.

Turn the internet off and watch some DVDs. I recommend Arrested Development. Good for a laugh.

I do if I find myself reading a lot of that person's posts or really interested in what they have to say. I've read yours as of a couple days ago.

I've really been picking and choosing my threads and posts lately though. I'm just...I dunno, tired I guess. Until a couple months ago I would read everything by everyone. But I'm at a point right now that day to day life and the weight of my decisions at this juncture in life require a lot of energy which I in turn don't have for the forum.

So it's okay for him to just harass someone? Which is what he did. He went to great lengths to track her down when she wouldn't give him an answer. She wanted to be left alone, and that's what he should have done. Period. I fail to see how anyone is arguing that it was okay for him to do that to her.

I have Borderline Personality Disorder, but I don't constantly think/talk about it. If I blamed everything on my disability I think I would be pretty miserable. I read something you said, and I'm paraphrasing here, to the tune of "If I can't figure out why I do/think something, I think it might be due to autism".

There is more to you than autism, but I'm not sure that you believe that. I don't think I've even read one post that is NOT about autism. I'm sure you have many wonderful talents and abilities, and many people would want to be your friend. I want to be your friend ! I kind of think youre stuck in your own head.

Thanks. I am kinda stuck in life, like it's really hard to move forward if that's what you mean. My depression would get really bad through my high school years and sometimes it still does. It's hard to get a job. I work for my Dad as a curriur for his company but I mean, like another job, because it's really hard for me.

I kinda had a dream about owning my own computer repair shop fix/build and sell computers becuase that the kinda thing I love to do, but the steps to take to make it happen are really hard for me, even so much as going to university to get certified. It's something I do really well, especially building computers. I build my Mom's computer and my Dad's computer. Online course would be great though and I have looked at it I just gotta find strength again.

Lost soul--
I like to read profiles. Especially when I've read a lot of a certain persons posts and feel a sense of, "care" for the person writing those words. I feel great compassion for what you're going through.

I think what you're encountering here is a bit of, "tough love" from a few folks.
Some, on this forum, have gone through and are still going through crushing experiences. I think they are simply sharing with you attitudes and techniques for coping and moving forward that has worked for them.

No one loves warm words and supportive attitudes more than me, BUT I have deep appreciation for the folks who aren't afraid to be bodly honest and direct as well. We learn from both of these angles.
I love to come in, when I going through a really bad day and get lost in the words and thoughts of others. It lets me take a "mini-vacation" away from my own worries and saddness.
Trying this might help you distance yourself from consuming thoughts about the other forum owner. It might also give you an opportunity to stand back from your own issues and embrace the hardships and problems of others, this alone ,can give you a much firmer base for communicating well with others.

I personally think we're all just fine and completely, "good enough" just the way we are. But I also feel I become a better person as I listen to and read about the experiences and thoughts of others. Sometimes we find the best in ourselves through the eye's of others, who really cared enough to share themselves with you.
