We all have our journeys. I'm pretty sure most the people who even just browse this site have a few tales to tell. Not all are wrapped up neatly with a festive bow. Most haven't even gotten to the wrapping decision. We struggle. We come to a place of supposed comradity. We judge no ones pain as greater or less than our own. We only try to provide suggestions that have worked for us, without any attached stigma. We all now that's not how this works. That said, today I guess I was explained how far I've come. And how did that feel? Read the thread name. I take my unexpected victories where I can. And I do hope everyone, yes, everyone, gets to have those days.

I forgot how going out to have someone else make my steak is actually pretty ******* awesome. Don't get me wrong, I love making my own, and they're always good. But this is probably why people buy my ****. It's just nice to know it will be done properly, but do nothing more than pay for it. Easy ******* peasy.

I can agree with this. People sometimes ask me why I want something from somewhere else if I make it so well myself. Because sometimes it's just nice not to have to make it myself.

I'll chalk it up to it being late. So, you're well apprised that you're going to have an awful appointment, you could **** it up, and ruin everything....or, just ******* accept it. The latter is the only choice. But the amount of hate, anger, and burn it all to the ground really wants free reign. Is there middle ground? Or is it a 'spin the wheel ************' and pick up the pieces later...if you're allowed

I have 37 hours until I have to try and maintain a constant state of continuous rage for a solid three hours. I mean, I have to try to dig up and revisit those early teen years. I don't know if that's actually what's called for, but it's the best answer I can see. I'm not talking about violence of any kind, just a mental continuam of being angry. I ride a motorcycle but it’s only a 500 and it’s a Honda. So I can still complain when some guy pulls up beside me and starts to free rev with his goofy bell helmet.

I bought a new lawnmower today. Sadly, the other one kind of gave up. I mean the part is available, but it's gotten older, and I really wanted a new one. I'm that age where that **** is pretty awesome. I can't wait to use it on Tuesday, it'll probably be a highlight for the week. Yep. Awesome

Awesome. Carte Blanche to type nonsense. Lonely depression. Kinda seems redundant, but I can also relate. What happened to easy, quick toaster waffles? They're all round, name brand. Generic. Where did my square waffles go? Did Eggo slaughter all competitors and force them to conform to the circle? Inquiring minds need to know.

******* awesome. I found a replacement for something discontinued I used to enjoy, pre pandemic. This could be pretty awesome. As I'm rating awesome. Not literal awesome.

So, I think I found a new therapy. I haven't looked, so it may be out there somewhere. But it sure has distracted me for a considerable amount of time today. I just need to find an actual influencer that has clout, but in a venue I could pretend to respect. Then we make a contract, and I'm sure as **** confident I could charge $500 dollars per person. I know that's not here at all, and I will put zero effort into it. But man, sure a great distraction today.

I'm so happy so few people are here. I always have time on my hands about now. I am in the midst of the holiday with family, so I'm not alone. But, I'm also awake at this time. So, six of one, half dozen of the other.

And a year later, I almost did but I got mine to where it limped through another year and may make two.

Still I get the feeling that I may have goofed up. I had a new one identified that sounded pretty nice but unfortunately they decided to leave this market, this year. There was no second choice that sounded worthwhile to me.
