We went to Walmart just to observe, but we left an hour before everything started on Thursday. I was tired and we had food in the car. There were people there in chairs, with backpacks of food. Many of those who hadn't brought chairs were seated on the floor. I overheard somebody in the middle of one line saying she and her family had "only" been there for three hours so far.

Yeah lol, some people overdo it.

Actually, on Friday I borrowed a roomies car to go to EB Games and buy 2 used xbox 360 controllers. I had completely forgotten that it was a major crapfest (Even here in Canada). For example, the malll that EB Games is in has a Superstore grocery store, they were having a "NO TAX EVENT" and holy crap, it was as if it was the freakin end of the world. I actually hate being in huge crowds, I am very uncomfortable in malls and Friday sucked :p.

In Canada lots of sales happen on this weekend too, so it gets really crazy. My dad also owning 13 retail shoe stores also participates in this (why not its where the money is, and allows him to clear stock for next seasons stock!). People get crazy during these days and I find it so goddamned pathetic, makes me lose hope/faith in humanity.
