For some reason, I appreciate old/antique stuff a lot. Pretty much anyone my age doesn't give a crap about stuff like that but I really admire the craftsmanship and quality of stuff made in the olden days. I don't know why, that stuff is way before my time.

The same with music, I love oldies music and 70's and 80's. I like how thing were about quality and service back then, now it's all about making money. :(

When I buy stuff, I only buy quality made stuff/brands.

When I build computers, I only buy good and reliable brands like Asus, Toshiba, Western Digital, Linksys etc.

I love old stuff. Old/rare books are especially an interest of mine. If I had eight billion dollars, I could probably accumulate a nice rare books collection... but as things are now I'm stuck with searching out the least of the rares. :p

I also love to rebuild/save legacy computers using Linux OS's. It's fun to scrounge for parts and problem solve in order to patch an old hunk of junk together and set it up to actually be competently useful by modern standards. :D

Huh, i quit using Western Digital because i wasn't getting that long of a life out of them.

I love antiques and old things, old films etc. When I get my own place I plan on filling it with lovely old furniture.

I dislike a lot of old things, but I like some stuff. Like my favorite jewelry is this pair of vintage Batman earrings I got.

I've never been disappointed with Asus kit. Currently using an Asus laptop...really nice computer, carbon-fibre body that really gets my geekometer going!
