Dog person, but we don’t currently own one, but we do have a cat and a rabbit in the house. That our first cat, a rescue, and it’s our second rabbit.
Rabbits? Awww. I love cats, rabbits, and dogs, and can't just pick one. But, if I had to, I'd say in this order: rabbit, cat, and dog.

Rabbit are cool, as long as you rabbit proof your home. They like to chew cables and your nice wooden cabinet and your suede couch, etc.
When I sit outside in the summertime, I talk to all my backyard friends, especially my little bunny friends. I even give them nicknames, lol.

I watch mine also. We have many birds, lizards, the rare snake, and kangaroos have been visiting a lot. On my return from a walk around the burb last night, I caught three kangaroos drinking from my bird pond. One was standing right up on the edge of the tub. I guess it's a bit of a stretch from the ground for them.

They give such undivided attention, never got why people didnt love dogs .... theyd give us their all
Cats do too, just in a much less obvious way. Dogs are in your face with their affection - cats are masters at expressing love too, just in more subtle ways. Soft headbutts, chirping to greet you, spending more time cuddling when you’re ill or feeling down and simply wanting to sit near you are all ways cats express their affection. Yes, I’m a cat person.
