When my depression is really bad I find it SO hard to do even the smallest things and it really helps to set even a 5 minute timer and say to myself "right, for the next five minutes I'm going to clean the kitchen, then I can go back to bed"

Having these tiny tiny wins celebrated can give me the next boost I need to build up dopamine and get the next task done building a positive forward momentum.

Anyone else want to play?

It's now 1.30pm in Australia and today I managed

- to get out of bed
- make my son a smoothie
- put the dishwasher on and unpack it
- I'm now making my son lunch
- I also messaged girlfriend and sharer my depression relapse with them
- and I joined this group and shared an introductory post.

Massive for me given how low and exhausted I feel but also feeling optimistic today that takling loneliness could be a game changer for me.

How about you? Please feel free to share even the seemingly smallest smallest wins so we can all celebrate with you and boost each other up 💗

A win is a win huh. Count it. FYI, there is a thread pertaining to "accomplishments" that people note these sort of things, but not too often, so maybe you'll kick off this sort of thread again :)
