Like for example.

You feel the light switches in your house are old, you have an urge to buy new ones and replace them, not just new ones, but rocker switches.

You see that your Dad is using an older motherboard with AMD Athlon processor and DDR1 RAM.

You have to money to go out and build your Dad a computer becuase you love working on computers, you build a new one and you also replaces your Mom's old computer with a new one like your Dad, with even the same specs.

Anyone know what that condition is called. It's very common with Asperger's I think or any type of autism.

That just sounds like living to me. It's called doing things in life. I don't think it's any type of "condition."

AMD is great.

The making sure everything matches is a bit OCD, but I wouldn't say that either of those examples were anything to be alarmed by.

Once again, I agree with Steel. I have OCD, and everything has to match and go together for me. If it's not, I don't like it and I feel like I have to change it. And I'll replace something, whether it costs money or not, in a heartbeat to have it right for me.

Sounds like my brother. I don't think he's a condition. He's certainly not autistic though, and he doesn't seem to show signs of OCD, he's a sloppy person, but he likes to replace stuff and clean his house every once in a while.

Like Vanilla said, it sounds like something normal unless you're overly obsessed with it.

sometimes when i touch or feel something with one hand, i have to do it with the other hand too.
even if people think it's weird, i HAVE to do it just to feel right. >.<!!!

EDIT: oh, and Lost Soul, the comic in your signature is cute :'3

Lost Soul, you're going to make yourself batty if you keep trying to assign names to your traits.

I have a small OCD thing where if I start typing numbers in sequence on a number pad, such as the ones found on phones. It's weird, but if I hit 1, I then have to hit 2, and then 3, and 4... and I type in the numbers counting up to 100. lol

But I wouldn't consider it a "condition."

Everyone has their little eccentricities. It's nothing to pay attention to.

Indeed. Not everything has to have a "medical condition" attached to it. It's called being a person, and being human.

^^^She means that these things aren't "conditions." They are natural character traits and things that are completely normal. Everyone has them and acts certain ways because of them. They're just a normal part of life for everyone.

Lost Soul if you think a lot about it you'll make yourself have a condition even if you don't have anything lol
