So here on ALL ive noticed people talking about certain aspects of themselves that they hate or dislike.
well we can't like every side of our personality, its friggin impossible. BUT, what im trying to get at is that there are some behaviours that you can simply train away.
the trick is taking it in small steps!
As an example i can use my problem with eating (its not a real problem it just annoyed me)
I have a tendency of eating sloppy and fast, and honestly i HATE when people do that, so why should i? I started thinking about it when i was eating home alone. trying to chew slower and taking smaller bites.
now i eat quickly, but im on my way of eating in a better way!! haha
its just a habit and i dont want my body to rule over my mind. I apply this thinking to many of my flaws trying to gradually train them away or just changing my behaviour.
the human mind is all about routines and habits, if you pin down the habits that you really dont like and feel that they actually handicap you in regular life (like making you look silly, dumb, or whatever you worry about) if you think about all the similar situations that trigger that behaviour and WHY that behaviour comes up its one step on the way to controlling your habits.
haha does this make any sense?
