At the end of a near-miss-but-successful-nonetheless clothes shopping day...

Today I have learned that even when you muster up the energy to be pleasant and polite to others, not everyone you meet will welcome your goodwill. Sometimes others feel just as ****** as you may have
felt just yesterday. Still, you should try to offer your good energy while you still have it, because tomorrow you might crawl right back into your pit of despair and your good moment will go to
waste.
Sometimes your kindness is just what a person needs. Sometimes it is the single factor they need to keep from falling over the edge.
But also, sometimes they're just not in the mood.
In the same respect, I have learned that one should be patient with another person trying to show kindness and politeness even when one is not in the mood.
For many, it is impossible to tell what kind of mood a person may be in.
Finally, one should try his or her best to bring to light the worth of a person who is made to feel worthless. Sometimes that's all they need to carry on.

This is what I have learned.

...But my good mood is gone now. Better luck next time.
