it isn't a story, he has tried, and that's quite good, it's not easy to find a descent girl where he lives.

it's a thread then and although he did try and he did well doing that, it was a failed attempt to get a date. Similar to 99.9% of these type of threads. Girl at work, in the gym, near the bus stop, in the school room, whatever ..

I couldn't know that she had a boyfriend, so it was bad luck.
I went out of my shadow, so you may even see it as a little success. Hopefully the next girl is a single and then we will see if things will work or not.

Today, Vera told me that she has a single friend and that she thinks that I'm absolutely her type. I said that I wouldn't mind to meet her... so I may get a date for the start of the next year. A blind date, since I don't know anything at all about her friend, only that she said that her friend is nearly one year older than her and that she is "a very nice and sweet person", which actually is a standard to say to describe friends. And of course I asked for her name, which is Sophie. Sounds nice.

So everyone, wish me luck. I say 50:50 chance that it turns out to be a great, or not.

Mate, I just read this whole thread and watched your entire progression with this girl. It's awesome how you set your goal and then manifested it. It doesn't matter that she has a boyfriend. All that matters is you put yourself in motion, visualized your goal, and did what you had to do. And as an extra bonus, you found out about her friend, another potential. I had my date with Sophie today.
I didn't knew what to expect, so it kinda was like a surprise. I expected Vera's friend to be a little like Vera, but she seems to be very different. She is strongly tanned (and told me that she likes to go to a sunbed) and has strongly bleached hair. The first thing she told me, when I asked about her hobbies and interests, was the fact that she likes to do pole dance. She wanted to learn physiotherapist, but failed her exams and is now working as masseuse in a small private wellness and beauty shop.

Some moments, it surely was hard to keep a conversation, since she was often just answering my questions, but she was rarely asking me something. But at the same time, she often gave me compliments and nearly fixated me with her gaze. It was a bit confusing, yet I believe that she may liked me. Or at least found me to be attractiv.
She really isn't the type of woman I would aim for, but she still was sweet to me, like Vera had promised.

The date itself was really nice I think. We met at a restaurant, we enjoyed some food and drinks and then I took her home with my car. Her home, not mine.

I'm kind of confused. On the one side, I have a bit of a bad feeling about her and she isn't really the type I like... still, she seems to be nice and she doesn't seem as if she would turn a second date down. One date maybe isn't enough time to get to know a person, right? I think I need a day or two to carefully think about it.

Well sounds like it was mostly a good date. The one thing that really stuck out to me is the part about her liking to be tanned. Hopefully she's protecting her skin, that's not the healthiest thing to be doing. Yeah, that stuck out the most. Just ignore me.
