I'm trying to work that out?....I won the lottery too ... well that's what the bloody current missus keeps telling me
They all sound like wins to meI won a circuit design contest when I was an undergraduate student. The prize was a certificate and 50 pounds. Besides that, I remember winning a spelling bee when I was a kid. The prize was...nothing. Just bragging rights I guess.
I also placed 3rd in a robot design contest. Not exactly a win but it's something.
Besides that, I once wrestled a professional wrestler for 3 rounds and came out with a draw.
Have you ever won anything?
I once won a rubber-ducky-down-the-river race - first place!
How did you win them?Good idea for a thread. I just saw this. And the last post was in October.
Let's see, I've won quite a few things.
Before I went into the service I won a microwave and a big screen TV. Since I still lived at home I had no use for them so I gave them away.
I also won China (dishes) and I had no use for that so I gave them to my mother.
I won two tickets to The Lion King and I gave them to my sister because I had no one to ask.
I don't win money because I don't gamble.
I did win a Playstation. That I kept.
Say what?
How did you win them?
I don’t understand this.I purchased tickets to two different bachelor parties
Someone was getting married. They get together and drink and play cards and have prizes to raise money. It is also called a stag party.I don’t understand this.
I know what a bachelor party is, but I don’t understand buying tickets to one. You’re either invited or not, aren’t you? You make it sound like an event that anyone can attend, if they buy a ticket, which sounds weird to me.Someone was getting married. You’ve never heard of a rubber duck race? You buy numbered tickets that correspond to a rubber duck. All the numbered little yellow rubber duckies are tossed in a moving body of water, like a small river or stream, and the first ones to the finish line win.
