I don't know, but it'll dethaw frozen hamburger meat within an hour. I have a pool, even that's too hot. I can stand outside taking a cold shower with the hose and be totally comfortable with it.

Oh, you live in AZ?

If so, stay safe.

We have been getting monster rain storms for the past week.

Death Valley in California will get up to 130; the hottest temperature ever recorded on Earth was when Death Valley reached 134 in 1913

Tourists at California's Death Valley took photos of the harsh desert landscape and a thermometer that registered scorching 127 degrees Saturday as a heat wave continued broiling the West.
The mercury there was expected to reach nearly 130 through the weekend — just short of the 134-degree reading from a century ago that stands as the highest temperature ever recorded on Earth.
'You have to take a picture of something like this. Otherwise no one will believe you,' said Laura McAlpine, visiting Death Valley from Scotland on Friday.

Wow, that sucks. I hate hot weather. I should appreciate the weather where I live more. It's 74 right now.

Wow, and I thought New Mexico was hot! Go "borrow" someone's pool while they're at work!;)

Well, its a little better now, but even the Pools are too hot out here. It's hot enough, that you can stand under a cold hose all day and not feel cold.

My best friend moved to Phoenix about a decade ago. The hottest it EVER gets here is like mid 80s and that's extremely uncommon. He hated the heat, I bet he's cursing that weather...

Even Florida is hot. Today is was so hot, that I slept most of the day. Right now it's finally cooling down and it's 82 and I finally got out of bed. This summer has been brutal for the most part.

It's been raining a lot here in NY. This state ******* sucks. I think NY is one of the worst states, right alongside Texas.

This thread has much gravity. Rising temperatures are really kicking in on a global scale. Get used to it. We haven't seen nothing yet!

Blah blah blah 'Global Warming', ugh.

I'm sick of the media writing about this ****, do people truly think our planet will stay the same temperature forever? The planets natural temperature has been known to shift over time, a combination of complex weather systems and sun fluctuations (NOT including the natural 12 year cycle) all add into the mix, an you get the media writing such pathetic things like 'Scientists confirm global temperature found a 1000 year old in ice sample 5 degrees lOWER!!!! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE' when people really don't know the facts, people also fail to take into account that the earth is actually (every so slowly) moving closer to the sun because of orbital energy due to gravity, I'm pretty sure that'll make SOME difference over a 1000 year sample of ice!

I'm just ranting now...
