I should have done it at xmas, I was 5 months too late.

the story ?

Met her thru a mutual friend, went out with her for about 6 weeks. She tells me before xmas she is going on a holiday abroad with her kids, sends me texts saying she is at the airport and then some saying she is in Rumania and having a nice time. A friend of mine spots her at her house. The friend rings me up and tells me. I go round the next day and find a man in the kitchen making a cup of tea. The holiday was fake so she could spend time with her other bloke. In the new year she texts me and wants a chat. When I get there she says she did nothing wrong and I over reacted. Since then we have met a few times as friends but her moods and interest in me have got worse the last few weeks.

Why could she just be honest, I hate people who have to lie to get around doing things. If she wanted to be mates then she should have said!

I tell people from time to time, people I know. (Even some people at work eg customers who I didn't know !)

She rang me up, lied over the phone about going on this holiday that she couldn't get out of. Came down, we swapped xmas presents, she spoke about her holiday to my Dad. Kept saying 'sorry'

Sends me a text giving details about where she is, at an airport hotel with the kids. Sends me texts 2 days later saying she is in rumania. Tells me about the weather, alters the time, gives me details about what she has been doing.

Her plan was to spend xmas at her other blokes in this other city. Trouble was I know 2 people who live down her street. And I got chatting to one on facebook and I mentioned my girlfriend was in rumania. This woman asked me to ring her. I did and she told me she had seen her that day getting out of her car. I couldn't believe it !

I sent a text to her saying I knew. She replied saying she was depressed and wanted to be alone. When I went down the next day to talk to her, there was this guy in her kitchen. I left before they saw me.

I know I should have dumped her then but I have no experience and I decided to give her a second chance. The last few months, we have swapped texts and I have seen her half a dozen times. Most of the time, she has been in a ***** mood.

I should have done it months ago really but ..

well I am in my 40's and never had any dates. (apart from a few weeks in 1996), so it was a big thing for me, going out with someone. I didn't love her but I loved the idea of having a girlfriend. And I clung onto that. I was always thinking it would get back to how it was. Having a woman in my arms was kinda nice

She was awfull and I have never been snapped at or spoken to like it before ! But I took it, thinking all girlfriends were like this. Just little things when she rang and I answered and she would say 'you took your time answering didn't you ?' - so after that I would make sure I answered really quickly.
