Oh, yeah...... I've caught, cleaned, and cooked MANY trout, mostly rainbow. I've also jarred them in my pressure cooker. Very tastey. I've cooked them in my truck. I've cooked them over a fire. I've cooked them in tin foil. I've cooked them via the sun with salt. Sam I am.
I started fishing with my grandfather as a young boy in lakes where wild trout still existed. Now around here they are all mixed bread stockers and have no taste. So, I buy flash frozen Tilapia instead. As a matter of fact I had two fillets today with some Gluten free noodles and a lemon off my tree. Very good!
