Well, I really need some flirting tips/advices. I have no close friends, no one to hang out with, no one to ask me out. That means i'm going to have to do all by my own. Here are my doubts:
* Where can I meet girls?
* What kind of flirting is most appropriate?
* when/how should I go talk to her/introduce myself
*what else should I do to keep contact with her, for i can eventually ask her out or something similar?
* and most important, how can I NOT look/be needy in this whole situation?

I don’t think there are any hard and fast rules when it comes to flirting, different people are open to different things but as a general rule

keep things clean and polite at first (this can change later on),
don’t be too overbearing or creepy (you’ll know if you’re doing it)
don’t be too pushy or forceful (ditto)
realise when its not happening then its not happening (and back off)
try to find someone around an interest you both share (makes talking easier)
and show an interest in the person (not just their looks)
be yourself (no lies or hidden agendas)
talk when you feel ready to talk (easier said than done)
above all else be nice (yes, just be nice, simple as that)

- here on the ALL forum, take a chance and send someone a pm; I'm big on common interests, take a course or a class to meet a person you can share interests with

- respectful flirting is appropriate at the beginning when you're getting to know each other, like compliments and smiles.

- say hello first, with a smile, if she smiles back, introduce yourself. Just do it, it's the only way. If you doubt and wait etc...she may find someone else or if she likes you, she might think you're not into her.

- I think that depends on how you meet her. If you know you'll see her again, ask her out for a coffee the next time if you feel the need to wait; if you think you might not see her again, ask her for her email, fb or twitter, something like that and send her a note the next day, just a hello how are you type. That'll help you gauge her interest.

- if you're nice and genuine, she'll feel it; oh, and as long as you don't ask her to marry you on the first day you meet her, I doubt you'll look needy. ;) Most of the time when we think we're looking desperate or needy, it's only our perception of ourselves.

I started doing this all alone too, it takes courage, but I got a very nice message today that says "to love is hard, not to love is harder". Don't give up! :)

Well i will mostly concentrate on the last few questions.
I think flirting should be a rather friendly/ little funny nice thing. Just going along with the flow. If you get to know a girl a little it becomes so much easier to flirt with them. You'll also have these inside jokes and such. Just makes sure you don't focus on flirting to much, let it come naturally.
You can compliment her, make sure she knows you like her, that you find her attractive, but don't say you're so sweet, you're cute, you're amazing every second sentence. Just every now and then when she says something sweet or so. Meaning don't let it overflow.
Also make sure she can feel you're interested in her, in the things she does, the things she likes. It will show her that you value her.
And in the end just try to be yourself, don't try to hard to impress her or anything.

Hope this helps

yea, saing hello to her with a cute smile sure is the best option. But its hard... I'm kinda shy. How cna I overcome my shyness?
