Heey there peepz!

This was just a completely random thought i had while on the bus home.

Basicly, all you seem to see (or what i've seen anyway, which is likely to be completely off from the majority) is that in the future, cars will float, and look all awesome and futuristic.

Why?

I mean, what's so wrong with our earth that we don't want to touch it? And, considering you have to defy gravitiy laws, that will cost energy, meaning future cars wouldn't be more environment friendly, even if they're electric. And all you gain is a floating car that looks awesome?

I really think too much into these movie/kid stories stuff, don't i? :p

The avoidance of bone-jarring potholes and spinning out on icy roads has much appeal to me.

Other things to consider....
-won't have to buy tires (expensive), fix leaks (expensive), or rotate them....
-no suspension to wear out....
-no impact going off road....
-won't get stuck in mud or snow....

What I don't like is all this push for cars that drive themselves. Where's the fun in that? Will they do handbrake turns to make fair young maidens clothes fall off?

When you drive these bone-jarring beasts for 12 hour shifts you have lots of time to think....

I love the inventor of air-ride seats btw.

It seems the wheel is becoming obsolete.
