Because hiding this is a great basis for a healthy relationship.

Start having hookups that can potentially be turned into relationships,

This one is gold: Expect an inexperienced man to know how to get hookups, 'escalate' etc. with the ever-present fear of a sexual assault accusation hanging over things if he messes up.

Kind of like expecting a penguin to suddenly take flight and soar off into the clouds.

That's the thing though, Reddit is ridiculous - especially those Pill subs.
They are notorious for their ridiculousness, cynicism, and exaggeration from reality.

For all you know, they're just trolling.
And/or they're actually guys.
That, or their views are jaded and distorted for some reason and don't represent the mainstream population.

I mean sure, it's rough, but don't make it harder by psyching yourself out.
