Greetings all

[misfit]

hi everyone, I found this site after making the painful realisation that I am a loner. It hurts me to accept this because I love the company of others but find it so very hard to chat to other people that I meet.

I've spent the best part of my 40 year life striving to fix certain problems in my life, and have made plenty of acquaintances along the way. However I cannot be happy with myself being such a lame duck in social situations, and am running out of ideas for how I can change things.

I'm hoping that I might find kindred spirits on this site who will understand a bit where I'm coming from and maybe listen and give constructive feedback when things seem bleak.

Thanks for the welcomes peoples! Probs just going to mooch a little longer, there's plenty of food for thought on these boards, it can be inspirational just to hear of others going through similar things and how they deal with it (or don't!).
