My friends (made some new ones recently too)

My home
My ability to laugh at myself and still see the good in others

That mac and cheese I have cooking in the crock pot in my kitchen!

Well, I'm not an American, but I was married to one for a very long time, so I used to celebrate Thanksgiving Day every year. These days I'm thankful for a great many things, but I won't bore you with them. I'll just wish everyone here a Happy Thanksgiving!

none of you American's are thankful for Black Friday!?!
it's been on the news up here, they're saying it's a bigger deal than thanksgiving itself and some people were pulling an all-nighter just to go shopping at crazy times. some stores opened at midnight and had lines ups down the street.
all for 10% off an over priced lcd tv.
who needs turkey and family!

With the number of stores that had their sales on thursday or even before, i wonder if a shift is being made that will make black friday a thing of the past.
