As you may have guessed, I'm new to this forum, found it while randomly floating about the internet one night as usual. I've read a little here and everyone seems to be very nice and supportive.

Well, a little about me. I'm 20 year old girl from the UK, and the reason I'm here is that I recently broke up with my boyfriend, he was the first person I've ever loved. We were together for 1 and a half years. I made some bad choices whilst going through a rough patch of what I now know was depression, but he couldn't understand and he broke it off. I was and still am 1 month later completely heartbroken. I never had ideas that we would be together forever but I loved him with everything I had. Right now it seems as though I'll never find anyone to love me as he did.

Never is a loooooong time. The way I see it, if ONE person on this planet loved you, the chances that another will love you are pretty good. Hell, it's almost IMPOSSIBLE that only ONE person would love you, out of millions and billions.

By the way, if he couldn't understand your situation and dropped you because of it...did he really love you? Love isn't just some smarmy romantic feeling--it's an action. A true act of love would have been staying by your side to help you through your depression. (I'm not judging the guy, I'm just trying to maybe see this from another angle.)
