Where do I start....
I found this site by googling "i'm a lonely loser" because well....that is how I feel about myself and I was looking for people who feel that way as well, and what not. I'm 15 and female. I don't know if this site is more for adults but... I'm "mature" I suppose. I live in a superficial metropolitan part of Georgia. Well, I know it sounds kind of stuck-up to say I don't like people, but for the most part... I don't. Most people have just used me for their entertainment and thrown me away when they got bored. Not saying I'm anything special, but I believe in being loyal and actually caring about people I like. It's hard to find nice people, you know? I don't feel like I'm progressing socially at a normal rate. I just feel so...awkward all the time. I like people watching, music, piano, guitar, literature, art, and people who think outside the box. Oh yeah, my name is Catherine. I hope you're having a good day.

(I feel really awkward posting this.
I'm having second thoughts....
Oh what the hell, I'm going to post it.)

Welcome, Catherine! You are in the right place.

By the way, try not to think of yourself as a loser because I believe that if people say you are something, and you believe you are, then you most certainly are. Yeah, that may sound rather awkward, it's just what I think.

Hey Catherine and welcome to the forums.

Want to start off by saying you're not a loser. Lots of people your age seem to be having these sort of problems. I think one of the main causes is one you pointed out. Some mature faster than others and I can see this just from reading the things you like. Very few 15 year olds have the emotional capacity to appreciate art and music , not to talk about literature. While I know this is not the answer you are looking for I can only say it will go away in time. I had second thoughts about posting my feelings on this forum but you will find compassion and understanding here , not to talk about AMAZING people and with some help you will go through this.

Have faith and keep your hopes up.

Hi Catherine, you are not a loser and there is nothing wrong with wanting people to be loyal and caring. More people should be but it seems to be hard to find anymore. Just be patient and soon those around you will catch up to you, you're what some like to call an old soul. You have an appreciation for things beyond your years. :D
