How many birthday parties did you have when you were a kid?

Hmm! I don´t remember "how many"... Yet, as egotist I remember I was, I asked my grandma NOT to organized another.
The day I selfishly discovered the guests brought too few things as gifts or presents.

How selfish I was counting gifts INSTEAD of friends! (call it androcentrism!)

Of course, it took me time to learn to be friendly or a real friend giving more than stupid things.

However, I have an instint of what I expected within frienship (not as a fiend!)

I had a total of ONE when I turned 8. None after.

Oh, there was a dinner when I turned 12, my mother made me bake my own cake and served cornbeef and cabbage which I detest, it tasted terrible as well.

My 16th? LOL.

Eff birthdays.

Not a single one. No birthday parties, no hugs, no "I love you's." Zero, zilch, nada.

2 My birthday is the day after Christmas, so too much effort. Also was forgotten a number of times, so I don't care much for birthdays
