Look, the thread title is 'if you had to go gay/lesbian'. It's not my preferred choice of words, but it implies that you have to imagine yourself in a position in which you're forced to go gay.

Clearly that means it's not so easy to just 'turn' gay.

Oh cry me a river. My first love was a woman when I at the age of 7. Now that I'm much older, I realize my bisexual nature and am at peace with it. That's why I don't find this thread offensive at all. It's people who take **** like THIS so seriously that makes the LGBT community look like a joke.
You wanna know how you promote equality? BY NOT PUTTING SUCH AN EMPHASIS ON ANY COMMUNITY.

By saying "Oh boohoo this is offensive to gays!" is just singling out the LGBT community and making us look like a bunch of whiney bastard children who need their hands held to cross the street.
