Really sorry you had such a bad night. I'm not sure your age, but I'm guessing either teen or early twenties. Reflecting back to that era of my life....those types of girls, easiest way to put them in their place is embarrass them about their manners. You have every right to be somewhere, and if someone else tries to make you uncomfortable, just express your sorrow for them, "It's really unfortunate that you're unable to be a nice person, but I'm here to have fun and would appreciate you not trying to ruin this enjoyable time.", and leave it at that. She's embarrassed, she'll try to verbally lash out again, but her credit is ruined for the evening because she made the social error.
