G’day mate. Where you heading to? An emergency location device would be a good idea. Starlink for your phone also. You need to know how to survive certain situations and let the nearest cop shop know where you’ll be perhaps, Knowing the location could be important in case it’s an indigenous area that requires permission or approval. First aid knowledge would be advisable.

Yeah, thanks for your reply, location Western Australia, have some experience in camping hiking and so on, basic first Aid as well, as far as tracking device of any type, doesn't interest me, I don't intend to return, whatever happens happens, i wouldn't say it's a suicide mission, but if that's the end result so be it , not really concerned..

I meant where in WA? I'm in Vic but have traveled around WA. It mightn't be a suicide mission, but if you get injured you don't want to be suffering for days on end. Quick death from a snake bite or accident is one thing, but an agonising number of days is another.
