Has insomnia and seriously wants to beat it. We can talk about it and support each other. If interested, PM me.

Oh Perf how long has it been? Is it complete insomnia or multiple awakenings!

It's a lack of habit to go to sleep when I feel sleepy, and often, restless sleep.

Perf, you've probably tried some of these but I'm just going to write a whole list of things I've tried, because I too have had long, sleepless nights:
-no caffeine after 5 pm
-turn off computer!
-try chamomile, lemon balm, passionflower or lavender tea
-tried melatonin?
-have everything ready for the morning
-deep breathing, counting breaths
-think about the things you're grateful for that day
-warm baths
-jerk off, crying optional
-after or during dinner, try eating something like bananas, almonds, something with high calcium, and/or cherries
-have a regular exercise routine (not at night)
-self massage, or get someone else to massage you when they can
-Husserl

Well, I've since found at least one trigger. Looks like some pills may help, but probably not that kind of pills :p

How about trying to deal with said stress instead of ******* up chemical balance even more?

I'm not a fan of sleeping pills because they're more or less the equivalent of drinking yourself under the table, to go to sleep. I can't imagine that being healthy at all, or even having fulfilling sleep.

I have it. :(

We could talk about that! You mentioned you have skype :)

The book I can make you sleep helped some. Diphenhydramine gave me permanent myoclonus.
