I don't think it's weird to be alone. I go for walks or bike rides alone all the time. Usually my friends are busy, and besides, I do these things to unwind so I actually want to be alone sometimes. I have also gone to a concert alone before. I missed the band the first time they came to town, and decided that I was going to go next time no matter what. No one else wanted to go, so I went by myself. I admit that it would have been more fun with a friend, but was still worth going to. So, no, I don't think there's anything wrong with doing things alone. People have their reasons, and you don't need to explain yourself to someone anyway.
