Looking to voice-chat on Discord - regularly

Hey there!

As has become the norm with dudes of our decade, it seems we're gradually getting lost within our own worlds. Our role within society has been challenged time and time again and I GUESS this is the catalyst for this hum-drum life of discovering and rediscovering ourselves and then trying and retrying to capture what it would mean to be men of this decade.

I want to find a good-natured dude to voice-chat with. I want us to check up on each other - a sort of accountability partner(?)

I figured, no use in having multiple messengers. I see you private messaged me, but when I responded, you disappeared. Are you that desperate for chatting and friendships? I'm simply not interested. I'm not desperate for anything.

Now, I don't make it a daily habit - checking my DM's on here. That's why I suggested using Discord.

I find it funny that you join a lonely forum just to request to chat with people on a different place, I find that desperate behavior. Why even join a forum if you're just looking to chat with people? You can do that here, lol. People really make me laugh!

They can do that here if they sign up for a forum that already has one-on-one conversations. Otherwise, what's the point of joining a forum to request people for Discord. Why not just go to Discord and request people there? Desperation at its finest, lol.

Well, there is a Discord chat room with voice chat here. No one uses it anymore though. All it would take is for two people to come in who want to use voice though to get it back up and running.

Oh, so that was my mistake and error. I apologize for the original statement. I've never seen it on here.

A lot of posts get responses from varied people. That's not a one-on-one conversation to me. I don't see what's so desperate about it. Maybe OP tried Discord servers and didn't like what he saw?

@reynard_muldrake I was unaware of an actual chat room in here until @TheRealCallie cleared it up. So, I was wrong about that. Misunderstanding @TerminallyClueless and I apologize for my comment.

Now I don't think he meant it through the the forum Discord channel. A lot of people like to go to PM to talk so it's more one on one. A lot of people in the chat room don't really come to the forum anymore. They prefer the faster, instant communication the chat room offers.
And well....the forum is not what it once was. The chat room thread used to be pinned to the top of the General section. Each section had popular and/or important threads pinned to the top, but they all taken down when the forum changed owners.
