Hi, thought I would give these forums a try- there is a lot of useful information on here I can tell.
I've been on my own for a while now, and it's been difficult to not only meet new people, but to form friendships with the people I do meet. At the moment, feelings are negative, anxiety, cloudy thought patterns, fear of the future etc. I've made the distinction between depression and loneliness, as far as I am concerned loneliness mimmicks many of the symptoms of depression. You just want to be part of a group of friends and have fun like everyone else, and I feel being alone is not great for wellbeing at all. I do get involved with things where possible though, Summertime especially is active- but need more.
