I'm okay with it because there was no second sentence after it; in that case, the emoji signified the end of the thought and sentence. Also, Kudos for you for knowing how and when to use an apostrophe

As someone who makes their living as an editor, I can assure you that a proper sentence does not end with an emoji. (Note the lovely little period I ended that thought and sentence with, THEN an emoji.)

I was only poking fun! Sorry if you took it the wrong way. Although in my defense, proper use of grammar is one of my pet peeves. Anyway, no offense meant.
