Oh you aren't too late. Although the storm is over, there are several people who are still suffering without electricity and destroyed homes and dirty water on their streets.

I'm glad you came out unscathed, butterfly! when we got hit bad with it, the electricity was out for over a week for some . The mail wasn't delivered to certain areas for weeks. Living rooms were swimming pools, it can be brutal. Some places still aren't even repaired after nearly 4 years.

I couldn't live in an area where the weather is so volatile anymore.
