I had a ZIP250, my friend had the 100.

EDIT: I just remembered that I have a rare 1MB disk, they're usually 1440Kb or something.

Never did have a zip drive. Like many, just passed over that one.

Yeah the zip drives never caught on as well as they hoped, they were mostly used as backup. They come at a bad time really since memory cards were just becoming affordable; and they were much more convenient.

You had similar drives like the Superdisk competing for the same market and after the Betamax-VHS format struggle, who wants to buy one before having a good guess as to which will go under and which one would emerge as the standard.
