Scammers/Spammers on Craigslist...suck

I thought I got a few legitimate replies...but they all turned out to be nothing in the end.

youre not doing it right craigslist works for whatever you want it to work for. lol youre going to get a lot of spam

with craigslist all I can say is be patient. sometimes it takes some time and a few ads

IDK what you are looking for, but I think this is pretty much universal

The only thing Craigslist is good for is buying/selling stuff -- and even then you need a Gurkha Security Detail to protect the transaction.

If youre talking about dating you really do have to go though a few replies and missed chances before you actually go out with someone.

Ive met a ton of ppl though, for all different reasons. It can be a mindfuck or really boring. I met a hardcore punk, turned out to be a nazi. That was a really quick and stupid date. I talked about Mark Twain and poems about empty jars for 15 minutes then dissapeared/

I actually thought I got a real reply at first. I emailed her and asked her specific questions, which she answered, and she even addressed specific points I made about myself in my email. When I replied to her I got that MAILER-DAEMON error which means her email is invalid...scammer.

You can probably find hookers in the dating section of craigslist, and I'm sure there are other craigslist-like websites which have "adult services"

I've never used CL to meet people, but I'm really sick of the job scammers. It seems like a legit ad, then I get a reply back for some scam of collecting client's money and sending it to the company via Western Union. Right.. noooo. The job said administrative assistant not money scammer. fml :club:

I remember the days when I was looking for a job on Craigslist only to end up with a bunch of junk mail and money-transfer jobs...it seems CL will never get rid of spam.

Well, I use the NYC craigslist, so I'm not exactly short on users.

Ha true. Id even get nude pics emailed to me no matter what I said about anything or if i said i just wanted to meet someone for no reason. Luckily I have a sense of humor about such things

Oh yeah just emailing someone a pic of your mess isnt going to work, but i think you know that Just keep trying...

An update on my Craigslist woes:

So, the person I thought was real, but then I thought is a scammer/spammer, emails me back asking why I didn't reply to her email...yadda yadda yadda. I send her an email telling her why...and that gets another "delivery failed" message. Okay, so is she trying really hard to con me?

One thing she did do is give me a link in the email to txt her my phone number. I txted her with a throwaway phone -- let's see what happens next!


EDIT: The email domain is iztelecommail.net, does that seem fishy to anyone?

I wrote this to someone on craigslist. THEY NEVER RESPONDED BACK! D: I think I must've scared them away.
