Hello fellow seekers :)

This is my second time being on this forum. The first time was around a decade ago, under a different user name that I don't remember, nor do I care to, lol. Back then, my experience with a handful of other people here was.... not positive.
Why am I here now? I don't have the first clue. I randomly started thinking about this place a few days ago, after literally having forgotten all about it in those 10-ish years. And while I don't feel lonely these days and am not particularly hoping for anything specific to get out of this, there has been this weird, strong urge to sign back up and check in. So here I am :D

To introduce myself, just a few things that come to mind spontaneously :)
I live somewhere in Europe, in my early 40's (though I prefer to call it "25", lol), I am very strongly interested in spirituality/consciousness/awareness since I had a spiritual awakening around 5 years ago. Not religious, mind you. I don't care for institutionalized religion anymore, but with that said, you're likely not going to hear me preach about anything (unless asked a specific question), because it's not my turn to awaken anyone here or elsewhere.

I currently VERY much enjoy watching Korean movies and tv shows (anything but love stories or romantic shows). I'm a meat eater, but I'm very, very strictly straight-edge - won't even touch cakes, desserts or sauces that alcohol has been added into. I despise absolutely everything having to do with alcohol, not to mention drinkers. (many unpleasant experiences throughout my whole life)

I've never been an extroverted person, but have turned into an incredible recluse due to my living situation these last several years. I practically only leave the house once per week to go to the grocery store :D

Well, I suppose that's long enough for an intro?
Not sure how long I'll be staying, as I said. I'm not sure why I'm being urged to be here in the first place, so I'm curious to see if anything happens :D

Take care all,
love and light to everybody here.

Hello! :)

I'm also interested in spirituality but I never talk about it, unless I'm asked. :)

May I know what are some of your favorite TV shows? I usually watch old shows like Police Rescue, Charmed, Grey's Anatomy, Ghost Whispers, Dark Matter, etc. I watch them over and over again, when I'm bored.

Oh and I hate alcohol as well. Last time I had a drink was 15 years ago. Now I'm 31. 😄
Someone in my family died because of alcohol abuse. I know how distructive alcohol can be. Not only physically, but also emotionally.

Hey there! 😃

Wow, great job in not having had alcohol in so long! That's amazing! 😃 I hope you're going to remain on that path. ☺️ Of course, I'm rather prejudiced towards the stuff. I've just had that hatred of alcohol ingrained into me practically since childhood. My father was a (functioning, I guess?) alcoholic as long as I can remember, which resulted in me never establishing any sort of bond or relationship to him. He passed away two summers ago from VERY ill health, most of which, I'm sure, had been brought on by that addiction.

Oh well. There's a nice, positive start to my message. 🤣

Honestly, out of those shows you mentioned I only know Charmed (I saw all episodes when it was first running, but haven't caught any replays since), and... did you mean Ghost WhisperER, with Jennifer Love Hewitt? I saw a few dozen episodes of that, but never the whole thing. I hated when they first killed her husband off and then had his soul go into this other dude, lol.

Other than that, a rather impossible question for me to answer 😅 I hardly watch mainstream tv anymore, and haven't in years. There's a couple paranormal shows though that I admit are my guilty pleasure.... lol

Yeah, I'm just not very involved in mainstream society anymore, actually to a ridiculous extent. I feel so far removed from everyday society as one can be while still running around this planet. I don't watch mainstream telly, I haven't read/watched news in YEARS (sheer luck I even got informed there was a pandemic starting up, back then, lol), I don't listen to the radio, like I literally would not be able to name a single current band or artist, or what songs are currently played everywhere 🤣 It's actually rather blissful, from my point of view, to be THAT removed. I live in my own little bubble, and wouldn't have it any other way. 😃

Anyways, I'm happy to chat though! Feel free to drop me a private message, if you like! I'll be thrilled to talk spirituality, as well. It's literally my main topic these days. 🪷

Have a terrific new week, and again - all the best of luck on those exams! Hang in there for a bit longer, and it'll all be over eventually!

Hello!

Thank you for your reply!

Yes, I meant to write Ghost Whisperer!🤗 My apologies!

I think it's great that you distanced yourself from the mainstream stuff! 🤗
I wish I could do the same.

Thank you for your kind wishes! You too have an awesome week!
