YOU'RE ALL AMATEURS

My black and white rendition of a spongeoform coral fungus only serves to highlight the mainstream adherence of everyone else's pictures to standard social understandings of art depicting the sky. Pfffft. Like the sky HAS to be in the air.

MY art is a depiction of the beauty that comes from the GROUND and is borne from DECAY, rather than things from the sky.

Have fun being like everyone else, sky-lovers.

That. Is so. Deep. You're absolutely right, Steve - the sky isn't necessarily what's above us. The sky is a symbolism of that what mystifies us. What can possibly be more awe-inspiring than the work of the humble fungi, decomposing matter and creating nutrients by which we live off of? Right on, brother. I am eternally enlightened.

Great contrast, too.

^^^Sometimes... I think the ground is our sky.

Why are dreams always associated with the sky, and with heaven?

Shouldn't dreams come from our basest urges?

From... the ground of who we are and what we want?

Whoa...
Mindfuck.

Steve, will you be my illegitimate partner, sipping starbucks coffee, buying vintage clothing and ray bans, and living in a messy, poorly-lit downtown flat with me and a pitbull terrier?

errr....I thought i did rather well with a crappy cell phone camera
without none professional lens as everyone else did.
Without anytype of photo editing. Capturing the moment
of simple beauty in life.
That would the point...we all know that.

Only if you promise to dress me in a never-ending succession of scarves (despite being out-of-season) and put strategic holes in my skinny jeans.

I'll come visit you at that underground contemporary history class, then.
