Just cant be bothered to wade through all the myriad of sections reading and searching for possible connections.

I just don't understand the thought behind making it to much of a chore to find things or people you might be interested in..

That's just the forum sectors 

Then on top of all that garbage we get the profile sector with folders inboxes outboxes numptyboxes effing anything boxes...

Then a diary then a place for your shopping list.?

Where will it effin end

What saddo is behing the design of this deluge of places to miss? or in my case ignore

The navigation and search is mostly useless But I notice we have many rules,,,Yes they like rules don't they? 

It separates the conformist who follow blindly from those of us who ask why...eg... Like making a rule to enter a chatroom??? LOL WTF    

Anyway  if its not on the front page or at most two clicks thereafter...Well count me out...

Request to close my account was and has been ignored...


So what's your opinion of all the many sectors on this site. Do you feel like sat there looking thorough every section to find something of interest. Knowing because of how its designed you may have missed that one person who you may have clicked with.....if you dont.....?

Personally, I don't find this place particularly challenging to navigate, it's pretty simple, as most forums are. There is no point in digging up dead threads from 6 years ago in the search for someone to click with as the chances are that the person you are replying to is no longer logging in or clicking the link that brings you here.

I'm beginning to wonder why too, Although initially before realising i needed to get membership of the clique I though it might be a decent place to vent before i got weighed down in the quagmire of clicks n double clicks followed by the cliques....Perhaps its the scintillating conversation and that wholesome feeling of warm communion I never had that makes me feel at home.

The admins will probably sweep up SingletonUK's poison posts pretty soon. Dump them in the graveyard with the rest of the diseased corpses. I do speak of course of the 'closed discussions' section. I've had a mooch around there a few times - it really does feel like I'm walking through a graveyard.

I find them all to be extremely enlightening, in the sense that it's a wonderful illustration on how some people with delusions of grandeur will waste such an amount of time and effort blasting people they feel no empathy towards for very mediocre comic relief. It's a futile exercise in corner giggling that would suit a 10 year old, not a 20+ one.
But I'm sure Singl thinks he's real awesome, too much so to ever think he could be wrong.

Regardless, people can just ignore it. Much of his gibberish didnt make much sense to begin with. I doubt newcomers will feel bad reading that as much as wonder what he was on. ;-)

While it was something with chat that set him off on rules, for some reason i would like to point out that the forum had no 'rules' other than the Registration Agreement and 'be nice' for over ten years.

It was only because of repeated requests by the membership, some making very valid points, that a 'Code of Conduct' was put in place.  It wasn't The Man trying to keep him down, it was a long running request of the membership.
