Everything I do is just me. I suppose many things could be incorporated into a group but I would think that would diminish the pleasure of the hobby. Unless I guess if it was competitive like sculpting butter. That was a movie I think with jack black. Anyway, I make dolls, knit, crochet, embroider, sew etc but I want to be left alone with my projects. Its therapeutic for me.

I shoot my pellet revolver at cans, feed and watching squirrels, attracting Ibis to my property, face painting on my thigh, making costumes for my dogs, and reading

Squirrels I adore. I love hearing the scuttling of their tiny feet on trees and their chittering. I'm convinced they taunt and talk to **** to my cats after evading a violent and tortuous end.

Reading and most of my TV watching are solitary hobbies I practice.
I am doing some self-study on a language course I took a long time ago, this is also something that I put much time in.
The course itself was on-site with a whole international group.

who else here has a solitary hobby? that is a hobby that can't readily be a shared activity among people. mine is audio restoration of old audio recordings with issues. what is yours?

Teach me everything you know, OP. :-D
I played bass for 17 years, never did any recordings myself, but I'm really into audio as a result.

My weird solitary hobby is probably doing mythological and folklore cross-reference work, and trying to arrange the bulk of it chronologically to the best of my ability to do so. It plays a substantial role in the side-by-side of the evolution of ancient civilization all the way up to the development of Monotheism, which is why I find it so interesting. Much of ancient mythology and folklore is actually shaped by lunar/solar events, which also ties into the Milky Way and Space which are also things I study as a hobby. It's honestly mostly something I enjoy doing as a sort of therapeutic, after work practice.

Seems interesting, that evolution.

Taking care of my plants is one of my numerous hobbies :) In the long run I would desire a huge greenhouse (that I would build myself !) where I could store all of my plants ^^ That would be neat eh d:

Otherwise another hobby of mine is designing 3D prints on my computer, then printing them with my 3D printer, or, in a similair vein of craftiness, I enjoy restoring old objects or tools into their shiny new state :)

There are other things (cleaning my appartment, enjoying architecture...) but these for now are my main Hobbies :)

I've done and do several different things, although on occasion I do do them with someone else; photography, reading, tinkering in my shed (I completely pulled apart an old rusted up broken lawn mower I bought from a recycle yard and totally restored it and mowed my lawn with it) camping, cycling, exercising, gardening, and I used to play a fair bit guitar and piano.

I enjoy knitting, these are a few that I made. I gave two away to a little youngster, then the rest to charity.

The teacosy and cupcakes I made for a giggle really. 😊

I have a solitary hobby. Can't really share it though...😈
Seriously, long ago I did models when I was a kid. Started with the Dolrean I got one Christmas, evolved to Sci fi ships models, then I started on boats, but never got the chance. I was eyeing a large three mast caravelle I never bought. But I have neither the time or money for hobbies right now.
