I wrote a post a few weeks ago called 'Strange thing I did today'

In it, I described how while walking home from work I delibrately changed my route so I wouldn't walk past a pub where some of my co workers were.

I had the same situation today. They went drinking again in the same pub. It was sunny so I knew they would be outside. This time I thought 'sod it' I'll walk past the pub. So I did and of course they spotted me. They started waving so I did and then one of them called me over. So I crossed the road and had a chat with them. I had them all laughing within seconds with my funny story of the day. (A woman at work touched my thigh !) - I left them while they were laughing and said 'bye'.

Seems so daft that on the first occasion I changed my route and avoided them. They are my friends afterall.

See! You had nothing to be afraid of! Aren't you glad you did it this time. Good for you.

Walking another way just seems silly now. I don't know what I was thinking !
