Now, most bees prefer deep violet and blue
it's the nectar their really after and not the hue
If the bees aquired a taste for the sweeter green
the green flower would flourish, from that altered gene
But why indeed when there is not a need
would people mess with someone's elses breed
or paint their behind like a dahlia
the colour divine but the smell a right failure
