my daughter has axolotls. they don't do much lol. and they can't regenerate their limbs indefinitely, as we've discovered. they like to nibble on each other sometimes and we've noticed their limbs have grown back malformed. they can die all of a sudden for no apparent reason as well. we had a big one for years.

very interesting yea I would not expect them to be able to regen indefinitely but didn't know that their limbs would grow back malformed I thought maybe Parshall regrowth like a nub or have a mishappen tail or something like a half regenerated limb thanks for sharing.
