Haha, I know what you mean, they actually use clever algorithms enabling it to learn from the responses given to look more 'human' when answering, unfortunately if a lot of people use it and give crazy responses to things it says, it doesn't learn 'properly', i.e. the things the would actually say.
Which is what happened the first time I used it, I said 'Hello', it said 'Word' haha

Not really pointless but definitely weird, but at least playable, would be Mister Mosquito, a Japanese game that basically has you fly around as a mosquito and suck blood from various pressure points, as you camp out for like a week in this house with five or so other family members. You fly around, collect empty blood tanks, some coin points and then finally make a dart for the human, normally having a pressure point somewhere where you need to land, suck blood at a steady rate (not too fast, not too slow) and yeah. If you get noticed, the human goes apeshit and tries to kill you, and you have to typically hit something to calm them down...like a radio with soothing music, or someones forehead. The weirdest part is likely when you go into the bathroom while their youngest daughter is having a bath, and...well yeah. The place you have to suck the blood from is her left breast. Go figure.
Perhaps it's weird the most for anyone who knows basic facts about mosquitos know that only the females of the species need to suck the blood, for the eggs, whereas the male does nothing really. This is also a mistake in Bee Movie too.
But yeah, definitely the weirdest game I've ever played.
