A shadow viewed in a sentence
To be read and felt but never seen
A humorous jest
between the words of comfort
An objective ear
A powerful mind
A writer
A child
creator of super heros
lost but anchored
searching
seeking
finding
floundering to swim
yet always knowing how
A vendor of spicey treats
discovered by a mistress of words
hide and seek
mysteries and secrets
gushing praise
for a well deserved smile
one can only enjoy the playground
should they venture to join the game

This is for a fine sharer of time and thought
A tribute to fun
A game best played
with words:p

hi i really liked that:)

poetry has been in and out of my day today too. i just randomly opened a book for no odd reason and found some that were really synchronious and i liked them alot (then got into the history of the authors/poets who wrote them which i thought was cool too), and then decided to look for this one i wrote about a month ago i think

Shipwrecked

i've been shipwrecked for a long time

sucking lying juice from coconuts

i doubt i will finish this song

moreso just have to carry on

Hi, Thanks. :)
I've always loved poetry. Freestyle mostly. I especially liked the second line in your poem.

That's a nice piece of work, Nina. Though the the guy in question sounds like a bit of a dick to me... :p
